Unleashing the ultimate power this Halloween with firefighters dressed as comic characters in an epic aerial battle
Orange, California, October 31, 2024 - At high noon, the Orange City firefighters transformed into a dazzling array of heroes and villains for a Halloween aerial showdown, descending from the CHOC Hospital rooftop. Iconic figures like Hulk, Superman, Batman, Joker, Riddler, Iron Man, Wolverine, Flash, Thor, Green Lantern, and Mr. Incredible made their grand entrance, spreading joy among the children present. The event also featured a surprise cameo from The Karate Kid, or as he’s known in this realm, “Fire Chief Sean deMetropolis”, alongside Cobra Kai's notorious Johnny, dubbed “Deputy Chief Robert Stefano”. Following the aerial antics, the characters showered the kids with candy and posed for photos before heading inside to meet even more delighted faces. This marks the second year of the Orange City Fire Department and CHOC Hospital's partnership, and it just keeps getting more spectacular.
