Santa Visits Children’s Hospital of Orange County

Orange, California, December 15, 2024 – Orange City Fire Department had the wonderful opportunity to collaborate with the Children’s Hospital of Orange County for the heartwarming Hook and Ladder event, where they assisted Santa Claus in spreading holiday joy. Thanks to the impressive 100-foot aerial ladder of Orange Truck 1, Santa was able to reach out to children in their hospital rooms, bringing smiles and happiness to their faces.

In a spirit of generosity, the Orange City Firefighters Local 2384 made a significant donation, adding to the day's magic. Following the exciting aerial visit, Santa and his cheerful helpers joyfully made their way from floor to floor, delivering toys and gift cards to the children at CHOC, ensuring that every little heart felt the warmth of the season.

Having participated in this event for over three decades, the Orange City Fire Department eagerly anticipates this cherished tradition each year, making it a significant occasion for all involved. “The joy and love shared by all those involved is what I treasure most each year!” – Santa
