Fast response and quick knockdown. No residents were injured; one firefighter was injured.
Orange, California, June 21, 2025 – At 10:20 PM, the Orange City Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 504 W. Culver Ave. Upon arrival, firefighters found an active exterior fire that had spread into the home. They quickly confirmed it was a working fire and they managed to contain the blaze within the first 30 minutes. The incident lasted for two hours and 27 minutes, with assistance from the Orange County Fire Authority. Fortunately, the home was under construction, and no residents were displaced.
An investigator from the Orange City Fire Department is looking into the cause of the fire, but no conclusions have been reached yet, and the extent of the damage remains undisclosed. During the operation, one firefighter was injured after contacting a live electrical source; he was treated at a local hospital and has since been released. The department is monitoring the situation and will provide updates if more information becomes available.
