Over 5,000 Toys Delivered in 2025 Spark of Love Toy Drive

Orange, California, December 24, 2025 – The holidays just got a lot brighter in Orange! The Orange City Fire Department is proud to announce the successful conclusion of the 2025 Spark of Love Toy Drive. In a powerful partnership with the Orange County Fire Chiefs Association and ABC7, our community came together to ensure that the magic of the season reaches every child.

This year, the generosity of Orange City residents reached new heights. The Orange City Fire Department, along with Fire Prevention, Firefighters, professional staff, and dedicated reserves, successfully collected and distributed over 5,000 toys to 15 local non-profit organizations that serve underserved families in our area. This effort relied on the incredible spirit of hundreds of residents who dropped off new, unwrapped toys at our stations throughout the season.

The Orange City Fire Department extends a heartfelt thank you to Plans Examiner/Public Education Specialist Lucy Echevarria for her tireless effort and passion that she devotes to this incredible event each year. To each individual and business that donated to this event, know that families in our community are thankful, and you helped bring smiles and joy to many. Whether it was a single board game or a bag full of sports equipment, your contribution helped ignite hope across our city.
