Single-story Dwelling Fire Displaces Family

Orange, California, November 25, 2022 – The Orange City Fire Department responded to a call of a residential fire at 6:00 PM today. Upon arrival at 336 E. Monroe Avenue, Orange Engine 1 found heavy fire showing from a single-story, single-family residence, declared a working fire, and stretched hose lines into the dwelling to attack the fire. Orange Engine 5 took command and began assigning tasks to arriving fire units. Orange Truck 1 was assigned to perform vertical ventilation. The crew cut a large hole in the roof to expel the smoke and hot gases.
